Classic Cheesy Garlic Bread
Ingredients:
- 1 loaf ciabatta bread
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 400°F.
- Cut the ciabatta bread in half horizontally and place on a baking sheet.
- In a small bowl, mix together the butter, garlic, parsley, and salt.
- Spread the butter mixture evenly on both halves of the bread.
- Sprinkle Parmesan cheese and mozzarella cheese on top of the bread.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Slice and serve hot.
Kerala-Style Garlic Chicken
Ingredients:
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs, cut into bite-size pieces
- 1 tbsp oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp ginger, minced
- 1 tomato, chopped
- 1/2 tsp ground turmeric
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp garam masala
- 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
- 1/2 cup water
- Salt, to taste
Instructions:
- Heat oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Add onions and sauté until golden brown.
- Add garlic and ginger and sauté for another minute.
- Add tomatoes and cook until they soften.
- Add turmeric, chili powder, garam masala, and black pepper. Mix well.
- Add chicken and sauté until browned on all sides.
- Add water and salt. Mix well.
- Cover and simmer for 15-20 minutes or until the chicken is fully cooked.
- Remove from heat and serve hot with rice or naan.
