  5. Add the diced onion to the same pan and cook until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
  6. Add the chopped tomatoes to the pan and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  7. Add the garam masala, turmeric, cumin, and paprika to the pan and stir to combine.
  8. Return the chicken to the pan and stir to combine with the tomato mixture.

  • Salt, to taste

Instructions:

  1. Cook the rice and set aside.
  2. In a separate pot, cook the Toor dal until it is soft and mushy, and set aside.
  3. In a pan, heat up the oil.
  4. Add the mustard seeds, cumin seeds, urad dal, and curry leaves and fry until the seeds start to pop.

  6. Add the chopped tomato, carrots, and green beans and fry for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  7. Add salt to taste.
