Beach Day Cake
Ingredients:
- 1 box of cake mix (flavor of your choice)
- 3 eggs
- 1/3 cup of vegetable oil
- 1 cup of water
- 1 can of frosting (vanilla or cream cheese flavor)
- 1 package of graham crackers (crushed)
- Blue food coloring
- White sugar pearls
- Red, green, and blue gummy fish candies
- Edible seashells
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Prepare the cake mix according to the instructions on the box.
- Add a few drops of blue food coloring to the batter, and mix until the color is evenly distributed.
- Pour the batter into a greased cake pan and bake for 35-40 minutes until the cake is cooked through.
- Allow the cake to cool completely before frosting.
- Spoon the frosting onto the top of the cake, spreading it evenly with a spatula.
- Sprinkle the crushed graham crackers on top of the frosting to create a beach-like appearance.
- Place the sugar pearls on top of the cake to create the look of sea foam.
- Decorate the top of your cake with the gummy fish and the edible seashells to finish off your beach scene.
- Serve your cake and enjoy!
Sandcastle Cake
Ingredients:
- 1 box of yellow cake mix
- 3 eggs
- 1/3 cup of vegetable oil
- 1 cup of water
- 1 can of vanilla frosting
- Graham crackers
- Edible seashells
- Edible sand (made from crushed vanilla wafers)
- Candy seashells
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Prepare the cake mix according to the instructions on the box.
- Pour the batter into a greased cake pan and bake for 35-40 minutes until the cake is cooked through.
- Allow the cake to cool completely before frosting.
- Using a knife or spatula, frost the cake with the vanilla frosting.
- Place graham crackers at a diagonal angle around the sides of your cake to create your sandcastle perimeter.
- Crush vanilla wafers and sprinkle around the bottom of your cake to create your edible sand.
- Add the candy seashells and edible seashells as your decorations for your intricate sandcastle cake design.
- Serve your cake and enjoy!
