Beach Themed Birthday Cake 1
Ingredients
- 2 boxes of vanilla cake mix
- 6 eggs
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 2 cups water
- 1 can vanilla frosting
- Assorted candies for decoration (gummy bears, Life Savers, etc.)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F.
- Mix the cake mixes, eggs, vegetable oil, and water in a large bowl until well combined.
- Divide the batter into three equal parts and pour each into a greased 9-inch round cake pan.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let the cakes cool completely.
- Take one of the cakes and place it on a cake stand or serving platter. Spread a layer of vanilla frosting on top.
- Place the second cake layer on top of the frosting and spread another layer of frosting on top.
- Place the final cake layer on top of the frosting and frost the entire cake with the remaining frosting.
- Add your candy decorations to make it look like a beach scene.

- Assorted candies for decoration (chocolate, candy shells, etc.)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F.
- Grease and flour three 9-inch round cake pans.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In a separate large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Stir in the vanilla extract
- Gradually add in the dry ingredients, alternating with the milk, until the batter is smooth and well combined.
- Divide the batter evenly between the prepared cake pans and smooth out the tops.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
