We ordered a plate of Xiao Long Bao, and oh my goodness, they melted in our mouths. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the consistency of the dumpling skin was soft and silky. We were so impressed that we even ordered a second plate!

Our second stop on our foodie tour takes us to the recently sold Monterey Restaurant. After an abrupt closure, the restaurant's new owners have breathed new life into the eatery, and we couldn't wait to check it out.
The restaurant is known for its seafood dishes, so of course, we had to order the crab cakes. And let me tell you, they knocked our socks off! The cakes were crispy on the outside and soft and buttery on the inside. The flavors of the crab were bold and delicious, with a hint of tangy sauce on top.
We also ordered the seafood platter, which included grilled salmon, shrimp, and scallops. All of the seafood was cooked to perfection, with just the right amount of seasoning. And don't even get us started on the side dishes. The garlic mashed potatoes and roasted veggies were on point.
The newly refurbished restaurant is classy and elegant, with a romantic ambiance perfect for date night. And if you're in the mood for something sweet, we highly recommend their signature cheesecake. It's a game-changer!
